Ninth Day of Silence

Dearest Super Koala,

So, on the HIMYM thing. The exact line was, “Hey Marshall, I got some donuts from this new place Hurts Donuts, do you want some?” Then Marshall’s brother ran upstairs to give him some, but instead punched him and said, “Hurts Don’t it!” In conclusion, either this was a common joke, or the people who started Hurts donuts got it from HIMYM. All I know is that I was very excited when this happened because it reminded me of tasty, wonderful, delicious donuts.

My phone does have a fancy camera. How else would I be able to snapchat you? It is a smartphone after all. I haven’t tried uploading pictures yet, but I am pretty sure that I am able to. When should we start our postcard and wreak this journal tasks? Should there be rules? Should there be a certain number that we do each week, or should we just do them at our leisure and post pictures whenever we do one?

So, bad news. September 6th is when I have my hair appointment. However, maybe we could do one in October. I have the 11th and the 25th open. Could you check to see if there are any those weekends? Maybe this is better anyway with your tattoo appointment and all. Now you won’t have to be rushed or extra sore.

Yesterday and today have been absolutely gorgeous, and it has made band camp seem effortless. This morning was actually a little too cold for comfort! It is amazing. Today was a really good day. We were able to run sets 1 through 26 without stopping. I don’t think we have ever made that much progress in just one week of setting drill. The band bought a sound board, and there are some really awesome sounds that are being put into the show. I am not going to tell you what they are because I don’t want to spoil the surprise for when you see it. Then, because the drill writer is behind schedule, we didn’t have anything else to do outside, so we got to stay inside after lunch. Mr. Brakefield gave us almost ten extra minutes onto our lunch when he only actually kept us over about two. And on top of that, we got out five minutes early because the fire alarms went off around 2:20 and they were making it basically impossible to hear anything. Looking back on all of the great things that happened today, I’d say it was the best day of band camp I have ever had.

Thanks for reminding me to return the library books. I look forward to your post tomorrow.

  1. Hey, I think your site might be having browser compatibility
issues. When I look at your blog in Firefox, it
looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, amazing blog!
